Christopher John Bilby and Tara Renae Waggoner were married July 12, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Chanute. The Rev. Richard L. Qualls performed the double-ring, candlelight ceremony.

Ryan Bilby, brother of the groom, Humboldt, was best man.

Derek Waggoner, brother of the bride, Chanute, and Kyle Bilby, brother of the groom, Humboldt, were groomsmen.

Alicia Godwin, Lenexa, was maid of honor.

Valerie Rissel, cousin of the bride, Vine Grove, Ky., and Cahlea Crawford, cousin of the bride, Iola, were bridesmaids.

Flower girls were Cydney Coronado, Chanute, and Sierra Blevins, cousin of the groom, Wichita.

Ring bearer was Zachary Crawford, cousin of the bride, Iola.

Candlelighters were Sarah Works, Humboldt, and Cameron Coronado, Chanute.

Ushers were Tori Frances, Humboldt, Jon McMurray, Kansas City, Ty Peverly, cousin of the groom, Oklahoma, and Jacob Stich.

Special guests attending included Ruth Waggoner, grandmother of the bride, and Don and Mary Bilby and Carl and Nancy Hamilton, grandparents of the groom, all of Coffeyville.

A reception was held at the Zion Lutheran Family Life Center following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Ruthanne Waggoner, Chanute. She is a 2001 graduate of Chanute High School and a 2003 graduate of Labette Community College. She is currently employed as an x-ray technician at Baptist Medical Park in Pensacola, Fla.

The groom is the son of John and Carrie Bilby, Humboldt. He is a 2001 graduate of Chanute Christian Academy and is currently attending Pensacola Christian College.

Following a wedding trip to Mackinac Island, the couple is at home in Pensacola, Fla.
